kinda funny

but ultimately trivializing major issues.

ads everywhere

ironic that an ad that makes fun of small spaces has the word "mini" in it. old school ads for sure...in other words cute and clever writer paired up with a shitty art director.

Cheap

Just a cheap and poorlly executed way to use issues, and a even wors way to connect with the right target. I will move to Brooklyn so I dont need to storage anything in this place.

nice moves.

ok, so politics have nothing to do with storage, but i think it's pretty smart that they take the majority of ny being left and use that to connect. it seems very edgy, but not so much when it's only running in manhattan. it's risque when you think of the rest of the US.

no thanks

Lots of cheap shots, and trivialization of serious issues. Don't like it. Nope, don't like it.

PS--Fuck the font.

bottom line

Good idea. Poorly executed.

Great

Might not work anywhere except New York and San Francisco however.

glorious

more, more!

you're thinking too hard

I don't think the designers could care less what the font looked like, as you can easily tell. oh if we could all assign political meaning somehow to our typography (use red letters instead of blue!)

narrow font

has anyone else noticed that the designer condensed the font for these ads. all the other mini storage campaigns use the regular version of the fonts. did they do it for space, or because of what the headline says?

pretty funny

Creative for a storage company. Pretty cool client to let them rock these too.

not even punny

Political jokes belong in the editorials, not in communicating a product.

lame

storage ads are worse than what's in my closet

another ugly one

manhattan mini storage's campaigns takes the "I don't give a fuck" approach when it comes to art direction and even concept. Past campaigns take their digs at queers, suburbanites and now, right-wing politicians? why not? they've become known for the irreverence, I only wish I knew who did these campaigns; in-house?
