I don't really get it...

seems like a weak attempt to bridge fashion and politics.

vhat?

so, are we supposed to be paying attention to kenneth's political and moral commentary or those glasses? i just don't think that fashion advertisements are an effective medium to get your ideas across about the state of the world.

these irk me

every time i see them. are these smug pronouncements really headline news?

meh

I read them. Then again, I was stuck on a train. I guess I always have a problem with brands and politics/social issues. I never know what it's trying to acheive.

trying to bring up points

but ultimately its empty. kenneth cole's "social" advertising in the end is for the bottom line; its always so smarmy their language; very sell-y as opposed to benetton/colors which preaches yes, but I think actually provides research, background information, action.
