tv programming?

I didn't get it. Maybe, in context, the look and type are recognizable to a specific station, so it'll work for those who know it.

what about the price is right?

brits come out with the lamest game shows.

love it!

Haha!! Stop taking it so personally. This is a great teaser that taps into the ridiculous prevailing insight that America (Bush et al) is not doing the world any favours. You're not in many people's good books to be fair. However, the reveal will showcase some of the greatest TV series/film exports in the world and make us dumb Brits say "Oh yeah...". Can't wait for it!

Nothing Good

Bad timing. Whatever it thinks it sells, its wrong. It sells hate. Plain and simple.

well

I think, especially since it;'s for a TV company, that it's in poor taste. I mean, come on, they are playing on the politically divisive attitudes today. It feels like a cheap shot.

jswindle, cool site

Really beautiful pictures of wall, thanks for that.

Good ol' Reverse Psychology

I like the campaign. It gives a political facade, but it will eventually turn into America's greatest export: entertainment! I like the vector.

Note: The graffiti is, in fact, graffiti. Londoners and other Euros love tagging up adverstisements with their own message.

attention getting

it grabs your attention and makes you think. they will definatly hype this up for a while and have everyone talking about it and then come out with something stupid.

Wait for it...

Except for Three's Company.

More America Bashing

The Bush Pinata continues to invite hits. Is it 08 yet?

agree totally

With paryshnikov, it is hard to say if the graffiti is there so omnipresent, It looks part of the message. Anyway, a very effective cheap shot.

in order to properly review this...

...shouldn't you guys have gotten a photo of the outdoor that isn't already altered with political slant?

Posted by: paryshnikov on October 3rd, 2006.

yup

saw this stuff in london and it's definitely getting attention. everyone thinks it's political, but then they are going to follow with a "except for our tv shows" thing. eh.

and part three?

if they add the "WHO SAYS" as phase-two of the campaign, then I can't wait for the corny reveal when they actually drop the tagline like, "EXCEPT FOR CARRIE, SAMANTHA, CHARLOTTE AND MIRANDA" or something like that. they've got buzz enough so it will inevitably be a letdown, much like the iSheep guerilla-like campaign that in the end, turned out to be for a rival mp3 player.

Why now?

Until "Who says...?" it's tough to discuss this one. Although I imagine the votes it's getting right now for contribution to society will see a sharp drop soon.

Like the war in Iraq...hahaha!

I like this piece because I understand it isn’t meant to be taken seriously or literally. However, this isn’t going to make some American’s very happy.

Judgment

It's difficult to review this ad by itself. I'd like to consider it with the launch creative as well—a big picture view of the campaign.
