In this 2-minute commercial airing nationwide, Obama presents his economic plan for America, directly addressing the camera for the duration of the ad.
pretty boring, but i like the straight talk. that's a rarity in politics and i really believe him. i think it's probably good for the swing voters.

nice
It's nice to see just a straight forward, well shot and respectful ad that easily outlines the key points of the campaign. The slow pan of the camera kept it slightly more interesting.

Not so
subtle
"Barack Obama President"
at the end... are you feeling comfortable with this?
I do.
...sort of.

filmed at 1600 pennsylvania avenue?
as we dizzily zoom in closer and closer, can't help but think those lovely white walls and airy windows look so damn presidential. compare that to McCain's similar ad, "Fight" with the homely touch of a reading couch. and looking at the two side-to-side is funny; McCain talks about your investments: "They'll grow again." hahahahha. funny stuff.

love that it's straightforward and at least attempts to explain HOW he's going to get all these hopes and dreams done.

I feel...
safe and in good hands when Obama is speaking.
Although this is not a groundbreaking add, there is no bullshit with this guy. Gets the message through to me.

love it
So refreshing to see an add that gets right to the point, without an attack on McCain.
