"everybody wants to be a nigger . . .

but nobody wants to be a nigger" is my favorite paul mooney line and it's true, it's so true. that even such a stylized "bling/hiphop" aesthetic (they should do an AIGA retrospective on the work of pen and pixel, Master P's art direction crew, http://www.penandpixel.com). but anyway, yes, pimp my culture, please o please?

wha da...?

i don't recall seeing any person of color in a ADC campaign, so i guess this fake Paul Mooney facial expression, bling'd Ronald McDonald makes a statement. But i couldn't see how something like this could be approved, i'm sure they could of come up with a stronger idea.

It's funny

At least, the pic is.

less than smart

the funny thing is, according to the ADC, that they didn't get much negative response to it at all; I personally thought it was just kinda ugly; I knew it was a parody of some sort, but it seemed so irrelevant that I dismissed it. The real question is, I wonder if they will follow through with this ridiculous bling look with the annual and the DVD.

Who thought this was a good idea?

I could not believe this when it arrived at the office. Did no-one step back and say "hey, this idea isn't so hot?" at any time? Oy.
