But seriously folks, I agree with earlier comments that there are probably some cultural disconnects here. If this spot had been made in the US, it would have to be considered racist beyond belief, but I'm willing to give the Japanese the benefit of the doubt.

all the online discussion talks about how monkeys are sacred in japan, monkeys are revered, etc., but really, the signs in the background that say 'CHANGE'? C'mon now. rumors have it that the agency which did it is an American ad agency. anyone have clues?
