JasonLouv and suzerain

said it best.
I’m actually moved to care less.

not even well done

Maybe it's just me, but even if the 'ethical' choices weren't poor, it's still a very murky message.

I'm honestly not sure what the hell they're trying to say with this; it just seems like a needlessly prurient mashup of current events + pop culture.

I think rather often PETA's media efforts fall flat.

Agree totally

with Jason.

Peta, I am starting to dislike animals because of you.
Someone stop these people, wrong and bad, I cant tell you how much you suck.

Argh

Not a big fan of this ad for two reasons:

1. It's torture porn

2. It detracts from the seriousness of the fact that the US tortures political prisoners.

Honestly I resent when animal rights activists hijack human rights issues. They are just not issues of the same magnitude. I understand that chickens are treated horrifically when being farmed, but come on. Freaking Guantanamo Bay, an issue the US and its leaders still haven't come to grips with.

This reminds me of a magazine cover I saw during Katrina featuring a sad-eyed dog with the headline "Who will care for the animals of Katrina?"

How bout who will care for the people?

Seriously, folks.
