come on people

after reading some of these reviews, I'm a little disappointed. This is advertising! Creativity is GOOD! "What will they think of next?" Wow. In that case, why don't we just trash guerilla and stick to print and radio. Forever. I guess it's a little random to put CBS on an egg, and the puns are a little corny, but what the hell. It's different.

this one must be spoiled

too many bad puns.

Strategic fit?

If you're the Food Network, go ahead -- chisel your logo into my watermelon, co-opt all the food you want. But this is CBS.

soon, in our dreams

Really, what will they think of next. Eggs? Come one - soon advertisement will be beamed directly into our sleeping brains. Ridiculous.

propaganda

i think its stupid. it will definatly get a lot of attention and hype. probably will even gain new viewers. what will they think of next

So Creative, and useful

Agree with AmandaM entirely!

Creative

I think it's a creative Idea that you don't see often at all. I'd rather see something on my egg and get a little chuckle from it rather than see it plastered all over the highway. It also informs you in the morning of a show you might watch later that night which is quite interesting.

Suks...

Who at CBS bought this one? Can anyone say "no bonus"?

we're at the launch of the fall season, and I haven't seen these yet? Anyone else?

Egg fart

Not a fan of ad creep. I want to look at my eggs and think Benedict, not about the toolbox who came up with putting hard-boiled drama on an egg.

Posted by: cheekymonkey on September 19th, 2006.

One thing!

It will impressive if they can print in the yolk without braking it, Now that's advance, and I am sorry all you treehuggers but I will probably use that medium.

Posted by: cubes on September 10th, 2006.

well, you know.

the medium is the message. i'm not sure, therefore, what that says about CBS.

CBS news

anyone wanna absolutely paste the window of the CBS morning shows when this comes out?

Posted by: avisualperson on July 19th, 2006.

ridiculous

Sometimes our industry (advertising) has no shame. Do we have to put a marketing message on absolutely EVERYTHING? Mitigating factor--this is one medium you can throw at the people who created it.

egg whites only please

It’s definitely communicating. But I rather not see it on my breakfast plate.

Posted by: mimijung914 on July 19th, 2006.

Is this a yoke?

no. no. i just don't want ads on my food. on the packaging is one thing, but on the actual food? i'm normally not a "big brother is watching" kinda guy, but i don't like this one bit. what's next:
Stamp bread with cereal characters.
Shape apples like the AOL logo.
Marble steak with a coupon on dry cleaning.
