Yay 5¢!

Let’s give the illusion of caring without losing our profit margins!

starf*cks

starbucks is a massive company capable of giving so much, why don't they just do it? instead of putting so much work into seeming like a generous corporation. i agree with euroskip. this was a weak attempt at making nice, starbucks. boo

orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

give them the fucking water...

way to decieve and manipulate in the worst way... all for profit... they probably jacked the price per bottle by 10 cents before donating 5... Starbucks, give me a break.

bullshit

it's not the amount that pisses me off, it's the fact that you're going to do something terrible (bottle water, ship it, make waste) and then say it's for a good cause. you should install water fountains and say that the money saved when to helping fresh water problems in africa.

agree totally

With shwizle.

If is cause product, make it be really a cause product.
Especially in a super successful company, that water is not the core. I fell very deceived.

it's a great idea

...but 5¢??? That's just stingy.
If you're gonna make a water whose sole angle is being charitable, then at least go all the way. Why not 50¢ per bottle?

Newman's Own is great example of successful food and beverage products whose entire profit is donated to charity.
