While our focus is on students and professionals in the field of communications (i.e. advertising, marketing, design, journalism, politics, etc.), we would like all members of society affected by the above disciplines to participate.

What type of communications are reviewed on AfterTheseMessages.com?
In the review section of our site, you will find advertising campaigns for Hummers, tampons and environmental advocacy; political speeches for Republicans, Democrats and Joe Lieberman; clips from the 6 o'clock news and even How-To-Books on killing pigeons. You will find just about anything, both past, present and possibly future, created for the purposes of commercial, mass-communication.

Who decides what work is added, and how that work is than reviewed?
The editors, or curators if you will of ATM ultimately decide what work gets added to the Review Matrix for our members to view and discuss. However, their opinion is only expressed in what work they find relevant by adding it to the site. Where the work lands, and ultimately moves on the Review Matrix is based solely on the reviews submitted by our members.

Can I submit work of my own, or the work of other's for review?
Please do both. With thousands of messages being released, and tons of new media being created by the minute, we need all the help we can get. We can't guarantee that your submission will make it on the Review Matrix, but we can guarantee your submission will be reviewed by our editors.

Why and how do I earn points for the actions I take on the site?
These days, you're rewarded points for flying, banking and buying foot cream. We thought the natural evolution was to reward you for expressing your opinion. For many of the actions you take on the site (signing up, submitting reviews, submitting content and telling your friends) you are rewarded points that are redeemable for campaign swag. After each of the above have been completed, your point totals are updated automatically. To track your accrual of points, click the "My account" tab in the upper right hand corner of the site.
